Goalie issues, a plea to keep Konecny, and more Flyers Stay or Go takeaways

Ahead of a pivotal offseason in the the Orange and Black's rebuild, we asked you to vote on which Flyers should stay and which should go. Based on your votes, Matvei Michkov and Tyson Foerster (96% stay) aren't going anywhere, while veteran tough guy Nicolas Deslauriers (82% go) could be on the way out.

1. A vote of confidence for Ersson

While Sam Ersson posted career-worst numbers in save percentage (.883) and goals against average (3.14), it appears Flyers fans aren't ready to give up on the Swede just yet. Overall, 80% of you voted for the inconsistent netminder to stay.
2. No love for the backup goalies

While fans voted pretty convincingly to give Ersson another chance, backups Ivan Fedotov and Aleksei Kolosov were not as popular. After one embattled season, 85% voted to end the Kolosov experiment, while 57% voted to show Fedotov the door.
3. Ready for more Risto?

Rasmus Ristolainen was one of the most interesting players in this exercise, as the bruising defenseman has long been considered a potential trade chip, especially before his latest injury. But 62% of you voted for the blueliner to stay.
4. Time's up for Zamula?

Egor Zamula has largely been stuck for three years, and as Danny Brière said at breakup day, "it's really all up to him" and "how he dedicates himself to taking that next step." Fans seemingly have run out of patience, with 64% voting go.
5. York and Tippett frustration overblown?

Blueliner Cam York and winger Owen Tippett have probably been the two most polarizing young Flyers, at least on social media. York has yet to produce at a high level offensively, while the inconsistent Tippett dipped to 20 goals in 2024-25.
If the Flyers are to make a blockbuster move for a center, York and Tippett would seem to be two candidates to be moved. But Flyers fans still see the upside of keeping the two former first-rounders around, with 89% voting stay for Tippett and 80% for York.

6. No trading TK

Travis Konecny has led the Flyers in scoring for four straight seasons. But after another second-half slump, and with his eight-year, $70 million contract — with a no-move clause about to kick in — some have proposed trading TK.
Those fans would seem to be an overwhelming minority though, as 92% of you voted that Konecny should STAY. And given 93% voted stay on defenseman Travis Sanheim, it looks like the "Travii" could be here for the long haul.
