How much do Girl Scout cookies cost?
Each box of Girl Scout Cookies costs $5, except for the gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies, which are $6. The proceeds from boxes sold in the Eastern Pennsylvania region help Girl Scout Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP) maintain properties, provide financial aid, and keep program and camp costs affordable for troops. Plus, let’s be honest — those Thin Mints are priceless.
Why do some Girl Scout cookies have different names?
Depending on where you are, you might see different names for the same cookies, like Samoas versus Caramel deLites. That’s because Girl Scout councils work with one of two bakers — ABC Bakers or Little Brownie Bakers — and recipes and branding may vary slightly, according to the Girl Scout website.
