Taking in a sunset from the rooftop terrace while cozying up by a fire with a nightcap — say, the Outdoorsman, with mushroom-infused rye and oolong tea — is reason enough to visit this Main Line gem overlooking the banks of the Schuylkill. But the vivid cooking from Top Chef alum Nicholas Elmi and chef Michael Millon would be a powerful lure in even the dreariest setting. The Mediterranean-leaning menu, which “coaxes big flavors from seemingly minimalist presentations,” highlights fastidiously prepared seafood and lush pastas — think ricotta cavatelli with yellow corn, forest mushrooms, and serrano chili — in equal measure in one of the region’s most stunning spaces.
